The news are filled with tales of woe, the economy is circling the drain, winter seems never ending - but don't tell this happy plant! All it knows is that the days are longer, the sun is brighter, and it shows us its joy with beautiful red blooms.

ReplyDeleteMy orchids are blooming and my 2-yr-old pointsettia is putting out new bright red leaves.
It's a Christmas Cactus - don't know the botanical name, sorry. Like your Poinsettia, it usually does its thing at Christmas, which it did! But I love the fact that it is back into bloom in March.
