Yesterday, I followed the advice my sister in law gave me, and went to work for the 1st time since I have started this job (now 9 months) with my hair down.
No one ran away screaming! I actually got a lot of compliments - everyone seems to like my new haircut (either that or they are all brown-nosers). So, the moral of this story is: things are never as bad as you imagine them to be (or :listen to the advice of your sil) My haircut is not that bad - I just need to get used to it. Today - I am wearing my hair back up in its usual style. No need for drastic changes.
It's Friday! Better yet, it's Friday afternoon! And, bonus! No meetings today! Lovely.....
It wasn't advice, it was just an observation/question. I kinda figured it might not be as horrible as you thought.
