New boots

My busy lifestyle leaves me very little time for shopping. When I need something, if it is not readily available in Farnham (not much is, apart from food), I order online and it works fine for me. But this winter, my 10 year old winter boots sprung a leak - a big size hole right on the top. Since I had no other boots and winter is far from over, I had no choice but to go shopping for boots. I hadn't set foot in a store since Christmas, and I was not looking forward to it. At least, all the boots at this time of the year are on sale, but you are lucky if you can find your size and the model you want. I tried at least 3 stores without luck before landing on Aldo shoes. There were my new boots! It was love at first sight and at half price too!! But wouldn't you know it, they did not have my size. Sigh... However, the friendly (aren't they all friendly?) sales lady suggested that I might be able to get these boots, for my size, on the internet. And sure enough, together we went on line, found the boots and ordered them (still at half price). That was Saturday. Yesterday, my lovely new boots arrived. Perfect fit! I love the internet!!!
