The best: Chikezie really wowed me tonight on American Idol. At first, I didn't think he had it in him, and I had voted him out in the first round (I hated the orange suit too) -but with his following performances, he proved to be a much better singer than imagined. This kid can not only sing - he can perform! (sorry David A - you dropped a rung this week)
"Ish": Amanda kind of creeps me out. She's good, no doubt about that - but I feel absolutely no connection with her style. I like Janis Joplin - that's the strange part...
The worse: David Hernandez - what was that??
This is the first year that I have really gotten into AI. It's all thanks to our fantastic Videotron PVR - which records the show automatically so we can view it when we want. Tonight - I was only able to sit down at 9PM - no worries - I started the recording from the beginning and fast forwarded through the millions of ads. Love it!
Until last night, I was a solid fan of David Archuleta, but after seeing Chikezie and what he can do, I have changed my support.
