After spending an entire day stuck in front of my computer & keyboard, I decided to spring the laptop loose from all the cables and to take it down to the TV room where Keith is busy watching Stargate. Here I am in good company - with Harisson nudged up close and Keith close by - and Lady trying to stop my hands on the keyboard by licking them - she is impeding me a bit, but is slowly giving up and it looks like she will soon slink down to her blanket under the coffee table in the corner.
Ah - finally free of canine attention - I can resume my typing. Now Keith is watching Mythbusters - a fun show to watch, not requiring my full attention. We were both interuppted during the last hour with our next door neighbour dropping in to update us on job opportunities for David. What great neighbours we have here in Farnham!
My cough is now much better thanks to a prescription of prednisone. Gee - talk about taking out the big guns! I just looked up Whooping Cough on google - never a good idea to look up a illness you have since it gives you all kinds of scary statistics. Seriously - the average length of Whooping Cough is 7 weeks. I am on week 7 - and it looks like the worse is past. I am so looking forward to stop taking medication! At least I can lie low for the next day or so and concentrate on getting 100% better.
