An early morning walk in the park

Most mornings, Bella and I go running in this park which is walking distance from my appartment in St-Timothée. The park is beautiful in the summertime, and I guess winter brings its own natural beauty too, but the paths in the winter are snow and ice covered and hard to navigate. This morning, I decided that we would take a little break from running and simply walk in the park.  There are hundreds of wild geese and ducks making a cacophauny of noise that rivals any iPods or Walkman.  I brought my iPhone and took pictures, a few for you to view. I will do the same as spring gradually turns this grey and brown park to a lush green wonderland. I can run for 8km in this park without having to turn around. It is by far my favourite running territory. And this early in the morning means that I can just let Bella run without a leash - there is no one around - we have the park to ourselves (or almost - occasionally I will meet Ginette, a lady with a big sheepdog). We both enjoy this magical time in the morning - it's a perfect way of starting the day - whether running or walking.

  1. Nothing like a vast deserted park (with tons of birds) to start the day! Wonderful photos.
