I love this family!  Each year we make an effort to get together and connect.  If you think there are a lot of people in this picture - there are, but almost as many are absent. With a family this size, it's really impossible to get everyone together during the holidays. And every year, we all take a little something back home with us. Something really tiny, like a virus or a germ. And if we are tired, or stressed, we incubate that cold virus and a few days later some of us are coughing and hacking and wondering if maybe we should have stayed home this year. But  we don't learn. I know that I'll be there again next year, kissing and hugging all those little kids and babies again, and praying that I won't catch a cold.
