Clean clothes at last!

Well, needless to say, we all wasted time in front of the new front loading washing machine last night, watching it go through its cycles (it has a glass door, so you see what is going on). Those front loaders take much less water & soap, but they also take much more time to wash. Still, the laundry came out clean - that is what counts. In the end, the idea is to have a clean pair of something to wear, clean towels and clean sheets. Amazing how you take that for granted when your washing machine works well, and how it can be a pain if your machine in on the fritz and there are no laundromats in town...

  1. I think it was Chrissie Hynde who had a song called "Watching the Clothes Go 'Round..."

Gosh, Farnham sounds even more exciting than Lachute!

  2. what make and model did you get? We have looked at the same purchase as our machines are "ghetto" as a certain son of mine would say. We been model watching for about a year, but have held off so far.

  3. it also occurred to me that as we get older, it is odd what excites us. Rewind back three weeks when we overhauled the upstairs bathroom, i was most excited with the new toilet! This is soon to be replaced with installation of a new vanity with granite top and undercount sink - at which point i can continue to be excited!
I find it hard to be believe anyones life is as interesting as mine!
