There it is! Our Christmas tree. I can't seem to find the star - I will have to dig further in the basement for it - I know I am missing a box of decorations. David & I had fun setting it up, remeniscing over all those homemade ornaments the kids did in elementary school. I am particularly fond of an angel ornament that Patrick made way back when he was in kindergarden. It consists of a acorn, a golf tee, a milkweek husk, and a pinecone - all glued together and spray painted in gold to make an angel blowing a trumpet. It actually looks like a big ugly bug, but each year for the last 24 years it has had a special place on the Christmas tree. What is your special Christmas ornament?
