It sure didn't take long for winter to catch up to Farnham. We are knee deep in the white stuff, and it's really really cold out there brrrrr.
The last week was so busy, getting everything done before the holidays - I pretty much worked through all my lunch breaks and got home late every evening. But this week - I am on vacation! Yeah! Now I get to catch up on all my Scrapbookerie accounting which I neglected last week because I was so busy with job no. 1. Still - it's a nice break - no getting up way before dawn and driving up to St-Lambert in a snowstorm.
I have both sons with me this week. Friday, I braved a snowstorm and went to pick up Patrick in Montreal so he could spend the week with us here in Farnham. It's good to have him around - he hadn't been here since last Christmas. It will be a quiet Christmas day this year, just the four of us, but I will make a mean Christmas dinner with all the trimmings nevertheless.
In the meantime, Keith is out there somewhere on his truck, heading out to some US destination, and David is extra busy at the grocery store (busy time of the year for them - duh...) so it leaves Patrick & I at home - me at my desk working, Pat at his desk playing some kind of on-line computer game. By Wednesday afternoon, I will put on an apron and start baking....
