Happy Halloween!

I absolutely love Halloween! I always did! I remember going out trick or treating as a kid like it was yesterday! Then I went out with the boys when they were little. Like my mother before me, I always enjoyed making costumes and dressing up. I have no children to take out trick or treating now, but I have plenty who come knocking at my door. I make sure to ooh and aah at all the beautiful costumes - some of those costumes are absolutely gorgeous. A little boy just came by dressed as Darth Vader - with the breathing sound effects coming out - it was great! Last year we ran out of candies way to soon, so I bought A TON of candies this year. We will few have left overs (darn :o)) Now I am stuck eating mini chocolate bars for the next few days....

As I am attempting to write this blog, the doorbell keeps on ringing, and I am constantly greeted by little witches, ghouls, and fairies. As the evening wears on, the kids are getting bigger and bigger - a party of 5 young witches just came by and they were all singing! Love it!




David took one of my mini pumpkins from the centerpiece on the table and worked his own carving magic on it - just for fun...he's always been good at sculpting...
