Well now, I’ve done it again! After my successful semi-marathon run on April 29th, I decided to bite the bullet, again, and register for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in October. The races are certainly the best motivation to keep up with my running, and I love getting medals! To be honest, I was disappointed with my time during the Montreal Marathon – I finished a good ½ hour later than expected. This year, I want to do better – so I am really reading up on training and will be more prepared. I am running a 20km race on June 17th (Father’s day) - Le tour du Lac Brome. This was the first run I did last year, and I really enjoyed it despite the big hills that really challenge you around the 16 km mark. Keith promises to be around - it makes a huge difference to have someone there for you at the finish line. I’m hoping that I’ll have people to cheer for me in Toronto – after all, there is family in there them parts. So, if you are wondering what I am up to this summer, I’m probably on a road or trail somewhere, running.
