Today is my father's 84th birthday. Not only I am lucky to have such a wonderful person as my father, but to have a father who at his age is still healthy, active, and happy is truly a blessing. My dad worked so hard while we were growing up to provide us with everything a large family requires. We never went without - no matter how hard the times might have been, we always had plenty of food on the table, our house was always warm and inviting, and we knew that we were loved. My dad has always had a generous nature, and never held back. He is warm and emotional - never afraid to be seen with a tear in his eyes. I love that about him. In my eyes, my dad is a giant, even if he is only 5'4" tall. May he live for many more happy years....Bonne fete Papa!

Happy Birthday to my dad!
